Crashalytics Privacy Policy
Effective Date: November 17, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Furiousa Solutions ("Crashalytics," "we," "us," or "our"), a company based in Nairobi, Kenya, collects, uses, and protects the limited personal information you provide when using our Crashalytics platform ("Platform"). Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to complying with the Data Protection Act, 2019, of Kenya.
IMPORTANT: Crashalytics is a platform that provides data-driven analytical tools, not a gambling operator. We do not collect sensitive personal data related to your gambling activities or outcomes.
1. Introduction and Data Controller
Furiousa Solutions (Crashalytics) is the Data Controller responsible for the personal data collected under this Privacy Policy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
2. Information We Collect
We are committed to data minimization and only collect information absolutely necessary for the provision of our services:
- Account Information:
- Email Address: Collected for account registration, authentication, communication, and for managing your access to the Platform.
- Username: Collected to allow you to interact with the platform in a more natural and personalized manner.
- Payment Information: When you purchase Tokens, your payment is processed by our third-party payment gateway, Paystack. We do not directly collect, store, or process your sensitive financial details (e.g., credit card numbers, bank account details). Paystack handles this information securely in accordance with their own privacy policy and payment industry standards.
- User-Generated Data (Non-Personal): While you use our tools (e.g., inputting strategies into the Crash Game Strategy Calculator, making entries in the Bet Journal), you generate data. This data is stored to provide the functionality of the tools to you. We do not collect or process this data in a way that directly identifies you as an individual for purposes other than providing the tool's functionality.
We do NOT collect any technical data related to your usage, including IP addresses, browser type, device information, operating system, or usage analytics that could directly identify you.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Maintain Services: To create and manage your Crashalytics account, authenticate your login, process your Token purchases (via Paystack), and allow you to access and use the analytical tools.
- Service Improvement (Aggregated Data): We may analyze aggregated, non-individualized user data (e.g., popular features, overall tool usage patterns) to understand trends and improve the general functionality, performance, and user experience of Crashalytics. This analysis is conducted in a manner that does not identify you personally or link any insights directly to your individual account.
- Communication: To send you essential service-related communications, updates, and customer support messages.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:
- Third-Party Service Providers:
- Clerk (Authentication): Your email and username are shared with Clerk for secure user authentication and account management. Clerk acts as a data processor for these services.
- Paystack (Payment Processing): When you purchase Tokens, your payment details are provided directly to Paystack for secure transaction processing. Paystack is an independent Data Controller for the information they handle.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency).
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you before your personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
- Deletion upon Account Closure: As stated in our Terms of Service, upon your account deletion request, all personal data we store (your email and username) associated with your account will be deleted with immediate effect. There is no recovery process for deleted accounts or data.
- Non-Personal Data: Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be linked back to an individual may be retained indefinitely for service improvement purposes.
6. Your Data Protection Rights (Under Kenyan Data Protection Act, 2019)
As a data subject, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to be Informed: You have the right to be informed about the use to which your personal data is to be put (as outlined in this policy).
- Right to Access: You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Object: You have the right to object to the processing of all or part of your personal data.
- Right to Correction/Rectification: You have the right to request the correction of any false or misleading data about you.
- Right to Erasure/Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data, which is primarily handled through our account deletion process.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details provided in Section 9.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We rely on secure third-party providers (Clerk, Paystack) for critical functionalities and ensure our internal systems meet reasonable security standards. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
8. Children's Privacy
Crashalytics is not intended for individuals under the age of 18, or the legal gambling age in their respective jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
